Its been a long time since my last blog as I joined a new organization & sometimes it takes some time to adjust to the new culture. I was busy with some projects & meeting deadlines, training etc
For the first time in my career it occurred to me how hard it can be to adapt the culture of the new organization. Accepting their norms & not always comparing your new organization to previous one. This got me thinking to write a blog on some common mistakes that people make in their new companies

Newly joined employees can be divided into two categories. There are type that just sit all day long in meetings, trainings & sessions all day without asking a single question. And there are those who will just try to make their presence felt by pointing out every little flaw that they observe in the system.
The problem with that is people either may start to follow what you say or they may get defensive & try to oppose whatever the problem you are highlighting. Management might initially be high on you & get behind the idea that there is something wrong going on. So whats the problem in that.
Problem is that If you don't have the solution to a problem its better keep your lips sealed. You may get a 5 seconds of fame but outcome of such accusations may will result in one out of two things will happen to you. Either you would be asked to for a suggestion or you will be asked to do it yourself. In both the cases your workload may increase & you may not get help from anyone since people will oppose your idea of change. At the end of the day you may find yourself standing alone doing all the work. So unless you have a lot of ideas & are willing to do a lot of work, You better not make waves in the new firm immediately after your joining.
Let the waves settle, learn how things work over there. Get trust of people & then one big step at a time make changes. That's all for now do let me know about how you feel. Suggestions & feedback are always welcome. Thanks for reading & do remember like & share. Till next time.
